BOISE, Idaho (AP) - A Caldwell man has been sentenced to three years and 10 months in prison for a federal drug charge.

The Idaho Statesman reports (https://goo.gl/Yt4wsD ) that 27-year-old Marcus Emilio Villarreal was sentenced Monday for conspiring to distribute methamphetamine. He pleaded guilty in July.

According to the plea agreement, Villarreal admitted he was working with others to distribute meth. Law enforcement officers seized 123 grams from a co-conspirator in November 2013.

The U.S. attorney’s office says Villarreal is a documented gang member. He has been ordered to have no contact with gang members upon his release from prison.
