GREENVILLE, S.C. (AP) - An Easley woman has been charged with felony driving under the influence resulting in death after an unborn child died in a wreck.

The South Carolina Highway Patrol told local media outlets Monday that 23-year-old Ashley Michelle Bridges has also been charged with felony DUI resulting in great bodily injury.

Lance Cpl. David Jones says Bridges was driving when she hit a car with a pregnant female passenger Friday night.

The man driving the other car and the pregnant woman were taken to a hospital. Jones says the unborn child died from injuries in the wreck.

It was not clear if Bridges have an attorney.
