FAIRBANKS, Alaska (AP) - Interior Alaska is experiencing an early fall snowstorm.

The Fairbanks Daily News-Miner reports (https://is.gd/HbuMCE) the storm could drop between 6 to 14 inches by Wednesday morning.

Snowfall so far on Tuesday has been heaviest south of Fairbanks. By mid-day, snow totals were 4 inches in Healy, nearly 5 in Fairbanks and 7 in Nenana.

Some power outages have been caused by downed trees.
