PORTLAND, Maine (AP) - A Maine man says he is guilty of federal charges of possessing heroin and cocaine with the intent to distribute the drugs.

Prosecutors say 34-year-old Adam Hill of Sanford pleaded guilty on Monday. They say he was arrested in April while possessing about 43 grams of heroin and 20 grams of cocaine. Prosecutors say he will be sentenced after an investigation report by the federal probation office.

Hill faces up to 20 years in prison and a $1 million fine. The Maine Drug Enforcement Agency, Sanford Police Department, Maine attorney general’s office and other agencies investigated the case.
