BRECKSVILLE, Ohio (AP) - A prosecutor says the driver of a pickup truck involved in an accident that killed two bicyclists and injured three others in the Cleveland suburb of Brecksville has been charged with two counts of vehicular homicide.

Forty-two-year-old Timothy Wolf was charged Sunday. Brecksville city prosecutor Sergio DiGeronimo said Monday that Wolf struck the two cyclists while making a left turn and that the three trailing cyclists then collided with the truck in the Sept. 17 accident. Police say the cyclists were riding down a steep hill at around 35 mph when the accident occurred.

DiGeronimo says Wolf told investigators that he didn’t see the cyclists because of sun glare. One cyclist died at the scene. The other died Friday at a hospital.

Wolf’s attorney couldn’t be reached Monday.
