PHOENIX (AP) - A reward of up to $1,000 is being offered for information leading to an arrest in a fatal home invasion in Phoenix.

Officers say they found 78-year-old Jess Sixkiller dead at his home before dawn on Sept. 25. His wife had called 911 from a bedroom to say she heard a break-in and confrontation elsewhere in the house.

Sixkiller had multiple gunshot wounds and died from his injuries.

Police say they have no suspects. They’re appealing to the public for any information related to the case.

The shooting occurred in a neighborhood near 55th Avenue and Camelback Road.
