JACKSON, Wyo. (AP) - The search for an 85-year-old man who went missing while hunting in Teton County has been scaled back.

The Jackson Hole News and Guide reports (https://bit.ly/1KOHBKo ) that Bernard Rietmann failed to return from a hunting trip in the Granite Creek area Sept. 23. Search and rescue teams turned up no sign of the man at the close of search efforts Monday.

County spokeswoman Charlotte Reynolds says the search is being scaled back partly because fewer volunteers have been able to assist in the effort. Authorities expect the search to continue at least through Friday.

Rietmann was last seen wearing a blue jacket, a hunting cap and boots and was carrying a rifle.
