ATHENS, Ga. (AP) - A University of Georgia student has been accused of raping another student in a dorm room.

Multiple media outlets report that a female University of Georgia student told investigators that she was sexually assaulted by 19-year-old Bamidele O. Oluwadare early Sept. 20 in her dorm room in East Campus Village.

According to Clarke County Sheriff’s Office records, Oluwadare was arrested Sept. 21 and charged with rape.

Oluwadare is being held, currently without bond, at the Clarke County Jail.

The university said in a statement to The Atlanta Journal-Constitution that he is not allowed on campus.

Oluwadare is listed on the university’s website as being a student assistant with Family and Graduate Housing. It was not immediately clear whether he has an attorney to comment on the charge.
