BATON ROUGE, La. (AP) - A 34-year-old Zachary man who led a Baton Rouge-based sex-trafficking ring involving multiple prostitutes, including a 16-year-old girl, has been sentenced to more than 9 1/2 years in federal prison.

Federal prosecutor said in a news release that Jeremie Jamocus Tate pleaded guilty in April to conspiracy to unlawfully use interstate facilities in aid of racketeering, two counts of use of interstate facilities in aid of racketeering and enticing another to travel interstate for prostitution.
