NORFOLK, Va. (AP) - Two Norfolk police officers face charges of embezzling from a law enforcement union.

Multiple media outlets report that a Norfolk grand jury indicted officers Randy Brann and Jacob Wright on Wednesday on four embezzlement counts each. Each count charges embezzlement of more than $200 from the International Brotherhood of Police.

According to the indictments, the money was embezzled from 2011 through 2014.

The Norfolk Police Department says both offers have been placed on administrative duty. Each officer has been with the department for seven years.

The police department says it’s cooperating with state police and prosecutors.

It wasn’t clear whether either office has an attorney.
