FALFURRIAS, Texas (AP) - U.S. Border Patrol agents have seized almost 300 pounds of cocaine worth more than $9 million from a tractor-trailer at the Falfurrias checkpoint.

The Border Patrol said that the seizure happened Thursday morning. After Border Patrol K-9 alerted agents to the vehicle, more than 100 bundles of cocaine were discovered hidden inside the trailer.

The driver was arrested and turned over to the Drug Enforcement Administration along with the narcotics.
