SAN BERNARDINO, Calif. (AP) - Authorities in San Bernardino are searching for a hit-and-run driver who ran over a 2-year-old boy.

The child is hospitalized with life-threatening injuries.

The California Highway Patrol says the boy was outside with his older siblings when he was hit by a silver Subaru Tuesday evening.

The CHP says the car was traveling about 25 mph in a 40 mph zone. The driver never stopped.
