SEATTLE (AP) - Seattle Police say they have seized more than 40 animals from squalid conditions in a Seattle home.

The Seattle Times reports (https://is.gd/GYiBvU ) police rescued dozens of dogs, cats, chinchillas, hamsters and a guinea pig after receiving a tip about a possible animal breeding operation in the house near the University of Washington.

Police say the animals were found in filthy conditions. The Seattle Animal Shelter took custody of all the animals.
