ST. PAUL, Minn. (AP) - A funeral has been scheduled for a St. Paul firefighter who collapsed at his fire station and died of cardiac arrest.

Paramedic Shane Clifton was exercising with his crew Monday at Fire Station No. 14 when he fell sick and collapsed. The 38-year-old was taken to Regions Hospital, where he died.

The Star Tribune (https://strib.mn/1ikOv3C ) reports services for Clifton will be held at Gustavus Adolphus Lutheran Church in St. Paul. The visitation will be Sept. 8 from 2-8 p.m. The funeral will be Sept. 9 from 10 a.m. to noon.

Burial will follow at Fort Snelling National Cemetery. Clifton was a U.S. Navy veteran.
