MERRIMACK, N.H. (AP) - A bridge in Merrimack will be closed to traffic indefinitely after a recent structural inspection.

The Bean Road bridge crosses the Baboosic Brook between Woodbine Lane and West Road.

WMUR-TV reports (https://bit.ly/1hC6rGs ) that Public Works Department officials say a replacement bridge is currently being designed. Construction is slated to start this winter.

Officials say the project is expected to be completed in November 2016.
