BISMARCK, N.D. (AP) - North Dakota wildlife officials say more than 100 licenses remain for this year’s swan hunt.

The state Game and Fish Department held its lottery for the swan season, which runs from Oct. 3 to Jan. 3. All remaining licenses will be issued on a first-come, first-served basis beginning on Wednesday. Regulations limit hunters to one license per year.

The license fee is $10 for residents at $30 for nonresidents. Hunters may apply on the department’s website at www.gf.nd.gov .
