BURLINGTON, Vt. (AP) - The owner of Burlington Town Center in Vermont says he’s ready to release an updated plan to redevelop the shopping mall.

Don Sinex of Devonwood Investors tells WPTZ-TV (https://bit.ly/1KKfela ) the plan will be presented to city leaders next week.

Officials in May unveiled designs for the shopping center based on input from nearly 1,000 residents. Sinex says the revised plan still reflects that input and will retain the vision for an 11-story office building and a 14-story residential complex built around and over the mall.

Sinex says the latest version reduces some proposed office space but adds about 100 additional housing units to the design. He says the estimated $200 million price tag outlined last November will likely reach $225-$250 million.

Devonwood hopes to start construction in January 2017.
