TOLEDO, Ohio (AP) - Family members say a 16-year-old Toledo girl has died three weeks after she was stabbed during an attack at home that also left her younger brother dead.

Police say the girl’s former boyfriend attacked the teens and their mother who survived. The 16-year-old is due in court in two weeks.

The family says Joscelyn Jones was taken off life support and died Tuesday night. Her 14-year-old brother Johnny Jones III died the day of the stabbings on Aug. 10.

Police have said that they went to the home after the 16-year-old suspect went to his home nearby and told his mom that he had done “something awful.”
