UT Martin (6-6 in 2014) at No. 17 Mississippi (9-4 in 2014), Noon ET. (SEC Network Alternate)

Line: No line.

Series Record: First meeting.

WHAT’S AT STAKE

While the outcome should be decided early, the Rebels will be very interested to see how their new starters perform. All eyes will be on the quarterback situation: Junior Chad Kelly - the nephew of NFL Hall of Famer Jim Kelly - is expected to earn his first career start while sophomores Ryan Buchanan and DeVante Kincade could also receive playing time.

KEY MATCHUP

Ole Miss RBs vs. UT Martin’s defense: Ole Miss struggled to run the ball for most of last season, which was one reason the Rebels were good but not great in the Southeastern Conference. Jaylen Walton, Jordan Wilkins and Akeem Judd are among those who could receive carries on Saturday and if they can’t move the ball against the FCS-level Skyhawks than it might be a long season.

PLAYERS TO WATCH

UT Martin: QB Jarod Neal: The senior returns after throwing for 1,880 yards, 14 touchdowns and six interceptions last season.

Mississippi: DL Robert Nkemdiche: The Rebels expect the consensus top recruit in the country in 2013 to have a huge junior season. He’s been very good the past two seasons, but Ole Miss would like more game-changing plays after he had 35 tackles last season, including four for a loss and two sacks.
