PHOENIX (AP) - The Arizona State Archives is showcasing ghost towns this month with displays of photographs and documents.

A one-day exhibit Thursday will have territorial maps and an 1879 steamship log. Those can be seen at the Polly Rosenbaum Archives and History Building in Phoenix.

Officials say visitors can learn about the town of Gold Road through a murder that occurred there.

The display also will have photographs from the Japanese Internment camp at Poston.

A smaller exhibit related to ghost towns will be on display throughout the month.
