PHOENIX (AP) - The death of an 81-year-old man at a Moose Lodge has been ruled a homicide.

The Arizona Republic reports (https://bit.ly/1OGpbCv) Bruno Klasener was found dead early this month at a fraternal organization in the Maricopa County city of Peoria. An autopsy determined he was killed.

Officer Isabel Wolfe is a Peoria Police Department spokeswoman and says detectives have a person of interest. Witnesses had told investigators Klasener got into a fight with a 78-year-old Peoria man and asked someone to call 911 before leaving.

Police questioned the man. He was not arrested. The case was sent to the County Attorney’s Office for review.

No charges were filed as of Tuesday.

Wolfe said the investigation is ongoing.
