CONCORD, N.H. (AP) - New Hampshire State Police say a Jeep crossed over the center median on Interstate 89 in Concord and collided head-on with another car, killing the Jeep’s driver.

The crash happened just after 10 a.m. Wednesday when the northbound Jeep lost control near Exit 2 and collided with a southbound car driven by 51-year-old Lynda Rawnsley of Hillsborough.

When police arrived, one vehicle had rolled over and the other was on fire.

The driver of the Jeep was pronounced dead at the scene; she was not immediately identified. Rawnsley was taken to Concord Hospital with serious injuries. Her condition could not immediately be learned.

The investigation into the crash is continuing.
