WEST CHESTER, Ohio (AP) - Federal agents are investigating several bomb threats made last week against Ohio schools.

Federal officials notified the state Department of Education that bomb threats had occurred at several schools on Friday. The department says it doesn’t know how many districts were affected, and it didn’t specify the schools known to be among them.

In southwest Ohio, Lakota Local School District officials say Endeavor Elementary School in West Chester was evacuated Friday after a call made a reference to “wanting to blow the school up.”

The anonymous phone call was deemed credible by authorities. No evidence of a bomb was found on school property.

Ohio Homeland Security says the FBI is looking into threats.
