DAVENPORT, Iowa (AP) - A man has been charged in the August shooting of a 24-year-old man in Davenport.

According to Davenport police, 25-year-old Roylee Richardson Jr. was arrested and charged with several counts including intimidation with a dangerous weapon and willful injury causing bodily injury.

Authorities say Richardson and another person followed the victim for several blocks before driving up next to victim’s vehicle and firing several shots. Police say the man was struck three times.

According to Davenport Police Capt. Brent Biggs, the man survived the shooting but his current condition is unknown.

It was not immediately clear if Richardson has an attorney.
