SEAFORD, Del. (AP) - Delaware State Police are searching for two men and a woman who investigators say assaulted and robbed a man while he took a shower in his Seaford home.

Master Cpl. Gary E. Fournier tells local media that the 31-year-old victim was showering shortly after 10 p.m. Monday when he heard a noise and was confronted by three intruders. The trio were armed with guns and consisted of two men and one woman wearing black clothing, black masks and gloves.

Authorities say the intruders pulled the man out of the shower, threw him to the floor and assaulted him. The intruders took an undisclosed amount of money from the man’s pants pocket and then fled out the back door.

Fournier says police do not believe the victim was chosen at random.
