ROCK HILL, S.C. (AP) - Authorities say a man visiting co-workers at a Rock Hill home was pistol-whipped and robbed by masked assailants while sitting on the home’s back porch.

The Herald of Rock Hill (https://bit.ly/1KR2chd ) reports that the unidentified 30-year-old man was beaten early Tuesday morning by two men, one of whom was wearing a mask similar to the one worn by the Michael Myers character in the “Halloween” films.

According to a police report, the two suspects struck the victim on the head with their handguns.

Police say the suspects ran away before a woman inside the house could retrieve her gun. As of Tuesday, no arrests in the case had been made.
