SEATTLE (AP) - Seattle police are investigating after witnesses reported gunfire in the Belltown neighborhood.

Detective Patrick Michaud says witnesses called 911 Wednesday afternoon to report gun shots.

He says in a news release that after hearing the shots, multiple people reported seeing a red sports car and a gold sedan speed away.

Officers found six shell casings in the area but no victims or damage.
