WILMINGTON, N.C. (AP) - The final defendant in the 2012 killing of a Chinese food delivery driver has pleaded guilty.

The StarNews of Wilmington reported (https://bit.ly/1XpWpJo) that 18-yearold Mustafaa Friend pleaded guilty to second-degree murder, firing a gun into an occupied vehicle, armed robbery and conspiracy on Wednesday.

Superior Court Judge John Noble sentenced Fried to between 23 and 32 years in prison.

Prosecutors dropped first-degree murder charges against Friend in exchange to his other guilty pleas.

He’s the last of six people to either plead or be found guilty in the shooting death of 60-year-0ld Zhen Bo Liu, who was lured to a vacant home and confronted and killed.



Another man was convicted of first-degree murder in the case last month and sentenced to life in prison.
