LEXINGTON, Ky. (AP) - A memorial service has been scheduled for a Lexington airman killed in combat last week in Afghanistan.

The Lexington Herald-Leader (https://bit.ly/1VwNeEU ) says visitation for 27-year-old Air Force Capt. Matthew D. Roland will be from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. EDT Tuesday at Lexington Catholic High School, followed by the memorial service at the school.

Roland will be buried at Arlington National Cemetery.

Roland and 31-year-old Staff Sgt. Forrest B. Sibley of Pensacola, Florida, were killed in an apparent insider attack by Afghan soldiers. The Americans were Air Force special operations troops.

The military said the attackers were wounded in an exchange of gunfire but survived.
