ALEXANDRIA, La. (AP) - The Town Talk has sold its building, but its offices will remain in the Third Street landmark that once housed JC Penney.

The newspaper reports (https://townta.lk/1Qbg9LX ) that Ken and Charlotte Wasmer completed their purchase of the building Wednesday.

General Manager Christina Pierce says it’s exciting to be able to downsize, modernize and keep the same address.

The Wasmers say their own current offices are out of room. They plan to renovate the former Town Talk property for their corporate offices, The Town Talk offices and about 6,400 square feet of additional leasing space.

About 45 employees of Virtual Sourcing will be the majority of those moving with the Wasmers’ headquarters. Virtual Sourcing offers financial management services such as accounting to technology companies across the country.
