JACKSON, Miss. (AP) - Lt. Gov. Tate Reeves has appointed two businessmen to a new Personal Service Contract Review Board that will examine state spending.
Reeves announced the appointments Friday.
Jeffery Belk, of Vancleave, is procurement coordinator at the Chevron Pascagoula Refinery. He has been chairman of the Chevron Federal Credit Union supervisory committee and was a board member of the Mississippi Minority Business Association. He earned a bachelor’s degree in business and marketing from the University of Southern Mississippi.
Tony Greer, of Clinton, is a certified financial examiner and an accredited insurance examiner. He’s also a Hinds County supervisor. Greer previously worked as a financial analyst at the state Department of Insurance and owned a real estate management company. He has a bachelor’s degree in business administration from Mississippi College.
