NICHOLASVILLE, Ky. (AP) - A 10-year-old boy has become the fourth victim to die from injuries suffered in a central Kentucky crash.

Media report Michael Osland died Tuesday at the University of Kentucky Chandler Hospital from multiple blunt force trauma. His sister, 5-year-old Lauren Osland, died Sunday, hours after the crash occurred.

The siblings were passengers in a Ford pick-up that was struck head-on by an SUV on U.S. 27 in Nicholasville Sunday afternoon. The driver of the truck, 28-year-old Rusty Johnson, and 51-year-old Robbie Chaffins, the driver of the SUV, both died at the scene. Police say Chaffins’ vehicle crossed the center line, and glanced off one car before hitting the pick-up.

Another passenger in the truck, 33-year-old Rachel Osland, who is the mother of the children, remained hospitalized in serious condition.
