RUSSELLVILLE, Ark. (AP) - The Great American Conference is honoring three female soccer players for performances during the past week.

Ouachita’s Haley Hatcher earned offensive honors Wednesday, Oklahoma Baptist’s Shelibe Shawn was the top defender and Natasha Fuentes earned goalkeeper honors.

Hatcher is the two-time GAC offensive player of the year. The senior from Maumelle, Arkansas, picked up the sixth weekly honor of her career. She scored twice as the Tigers beat Rogers State 6-0.

Shawn is the first Bison to win a women’s soccer weekly award from the conference. The senior from Noble, Oklahoma, anchored the defense in a 2-1 victory over Newman.

Fuentes was honored for a second time after recording a 1-0 victory against Eastern New Mexico. The junior from Yukon, Oklahoma, had seven saves in her seventh career shutout.
