LINCOLN, Neb. (AP) - A man charged in the shooting death of a 25-year-old Lincoln man has pleaded not guilty.

The Lincoln Journal Star (https://bit.ly/1SD71kT ) reports that 33-year-old Anthony Wells pleaded not guilty to first-degree murder, use of a firearm to commit a felony, possession of a firearm by a prohibited person and unlawful discharge of a firearm on Wednesday. Police say they found Joshua Hartwig dead outside of an apartment building north of downtown Lincoln in January.

Officers determined that there was an argument between a man and a woman about 30 minutes before the shooting, and the man left the area after the disagreement.

The shooting happened when a group of people, including Hartwig, was standing outside the apartment building.
