BUTTE, Mont. (AP) - An Anaconda man was killed and another was injured in a single-vehicle rollover crash on Interstate 90 west of Butte.

Butte Silver-Bow County Coroner Lee LaBreche says 32-year-old Cody McCowen was killed in the crash a mile west of Ramsey early Tuesday morning. The 58-year-old driver was injured.

State Troopers say he failed to negotiate a turn and overcorrected, causing the small pickup to enter the median. He then overcorrected, causing the pickup to slide sideways and roll several times. Both men were thrown from the vehicle.

They were taken to a hospital in Butte, where McCowen was pronounced dead.

Investigators believe alcohol and speed might have played a role in the crash.
