BIRMINGHAM, Ala. (AP) - Birmingham police say they’re investigating the killing of a 20-year-old man, shot to death after an argument over a dice game.

Police said officers found Joseuell Kirkland of Birmingham around 8:40 p.m. Monday, lying on a porch on 21st Street Southwest with an apparent gunshot wound. He was pronounced dead at the scene.

Police say Kirkland and three other males had been playing a dice game on the porch when an argument began. Witnesses say one of the males later pulled out a gun and shot Kirkland, then got into a black truck and left the scene.

No arrests were announced, but police said investigators have some information about the suspect’s identity and are asking anyone with information on the case to contact them.
