RICHMOND, Calif. (AP) - Police are investigating the ninth freeway shooting in six months on a stretch of freeway in the San Francisco Bay Area.

KRON reports (https://bit.ly/1N6rZK0 ) Tuesday that most recently officers are on the hunt for two gunmen involved in an eastbound Interstate 80 shooting on Sunday in Richmond.

The suspect vehicle, described as a minivan, opened fire into a taxi cab at around 8:30 p.m., the station reports.

No one was injured.

Police don’t know if the shootings are random or targeted. They have happened at night and during the day since November.
