SAVANNAH, Ga. (AP) - Authorities say seven students were taken to hospitals with what are believed to be minor injuries after a school bus wreck in Savannah.

The Savannah Morning News reports (bit.ly/1V1yNv5) that the crash happened shortly after 7 a.m. Wednesday.

Savannah-Chatham County Schools spokeswoman Sheila Blanco said the preliminary investigation found that another vehicle struck the rear of the bus.

Blanco said the seven students were taken to both Candler and Memorial hospitals.

Blanco said none of the injuries were believed to be serious.
