NEWPORT BEACH, Calif. (AP) - Investigators in Orange County are searching for suspects after people were shot with pellets in three incidents in Newport Beach.

Police say a man loading a van Sunday told detectives he heard something strike the vehicle before he was hit in the chin.

Later Sunday a man reported being struck in the back while getting into his car. And on Monday a man was hit by pellets in the arms while jogging.



City News Service says all the injuries were minor.

Newport Beach Police have not identified a motive or released suspect descriptions.
