GEORGETOWN, Mass. (AP) - Four children were among seven people injured when police say an SUV crossed the median on Interstate 95 in Georgetown and collided head-on with another vehicle.

State police say a 25-year-old woman drove her SUV from the northbound lanes into the southbound side at about 1:40 p.m. Sunday and struck a vehicle carrying a mother, father and four children.

The mother suffered significant head and back injuries and was airlifted to Tufts Medical Center in Boston. The father and children were taken to Anna Jaques Hospital in Newburyport.

Police say the SUV also a car, sending that driver to the hospital.
