PORTLAND, Ore. (AP) - The attorney for a former nurse accused of criminal mistreatment and sexual abuse says his client will be cleared of all wrongdoing.
The Oregonian reports (https://bit.ly/1raqy3Q ) that 37-year-old Alex Woolner was arrested Friday and accused of victimizing female patients who came to a Kaiser Permanente clinic in Beaverton for medical treatment.
Woolner has been released from Washington County Jail after posting bond.
Woolner’s attorney Shawn Kollie said in a statement that the allegations against his client are false and that he urges the public to not unfairly judge Woolner outside the courtroom.
A Kaiser spokesman said in a statement that they are cooperating with police in the investigation and that patient safety is Kaiser’s top priority.
