WESTLAND, Pa. (AP) - Authorities say a man was shot to death during an argument at a backyard picnic in western Pennsylvania over the weekend.

Officials in Washington County said the gunfire was reported shortly before 8 p.m. Sunday at the Mount Pleasant Township gathering.

The county coroner’s office said 22-year-old Robert Kramer Jr. was shot in the chest and pronounced dead at the scene.

Police said 28-year-old Joshua Moss, who lives in a duplex next-door to the victim’s home, was charged with criminal homicide and a firearms crime. The Pittsburgh Post-Gazette reported that he is a cousin of the victim.

Moss is being held without bail pending an April 27 hearing; court documents don’t list an attorney who could respond to the charges and a listed number for him couldn’t be found Monday.
