BAY CITY, Mich. (AP) - The body of a missing Bay County man has been found in the Saginaw River.

Fifty-nine-year-old Bob Billingsley of Linwood was last seen March 14 after leaving his job. Bay County Undersheriff Troy Cunningham says search crews found the body shortly after 5 p.m. Monday floating north of the USS Edson’s docking site. Cunningham says a pedestrian saw the body initially and called 911.

The Bay City Times (https://bit.ly/1YE4A3s ) reports a wallet found in Billingsley’s pants pocket identified him, and members of his family confirmed his identity at the scene.

Cunningham says it does not appear foul play is involved, and that the case is still open for investigation.
