PELZER, S.C. (AP) - The Greenville County sheriff’s office says a shooting in Pelzer that killed one man and injured three others may have been the result of a drug dispute.

Lt. Ty Miller said Monday that investigators think the victims knew the suspects.

Thirty-one-year-old Zachery Kyle Whitley of Piedmont died in the shooting early Sunday. The coroner’s office said Whitley collapsed in the front yard of the home as he tried to return to his vehicle.

There was no word on the condition of those who were wounded.

Deputies are looking for three males and a female, though they do not yet have names for the suspects. No arrests have been made.
