ROME, N.Y. (AP) - Griffiss International Airport in Rome, New York, is hosting unmanned aircraft tests this week in support of a NASA project.

Officials say the tests will run through Thursday at the former Air Force base in central New York. NASA will collect data from the tests to help develop its unmanned aircraft traffic management system.

The tests are being performed under an aeronautical research contract that was awarded to Griffiss and Oneida County last year.
