OHATCHEE, Ala. (AP) - A 34-year-old Ohatchee man has died less than two weeks after his brother was accused of shooting him during an argument.

Calhoun County Coroner Pat Brown says Andy Lee Frost died early Monday morning in a Birmingham hospital.

Calhoun County Sheriff’s Office Chief Deputy Matthew Wade has said the victim was wounded by a shotgun blast on April 10 after he and his 37-year-old brother Casey Leon Frost began arguing about ephedrine, a drug commonly used for making methamphetamine. Wade says the victim may have been trying to take his older brother’s vehicle.

Authorities are still investigating the incident and have not charged Casey Frost in connection with the shooting.
