BALTIMORE (AP) - A driver has been found guilty of first-degree murder for running down a woman and a toddler on a sidewalk after an argument.

Baltimore Circuit Court Judge Marcus Shar convicted 30-year-old Lucresha Mints Wednesday in the killings of 25-year-old Latoya Skipwith and 2-year-old Joshua Carter Jr.

Prosecutors say on May 27, 2014, Mints, angry that a male friend was seeing another woman, deliberately aimed her car at the west Baltimore sidewalk where people were standing.

Authorities say Mints drove away, but turned herself in the next day.

Mints faces a life term at sentencing in June.
