DALEVILLE, Ala. (AP) - The former superintendent of the Daleville City Schools system is facing two domestic violence charges.

Dothan Police Investigator Bryan Tate tells the Dothan Eagle (https://bit.ly/1SYWOx4 ) that 60-year-old Andrew Roland Kelley was arrested Monday and charged with misdemeanor domestic violence harassment and misdemeanor domestic violence harassing communications.

Tate says this is the second time Kelley has faced domestic violence charges in connection with his former wife.

Court records show the recent charges accuse Kelley of going to his ex-wife’s place of employment after being told to have no contact with the victim, as well as sending numerous emails to her.

Kelley retired as Daleville City Schools superintendent in February, but was retained on a consulting contract by the Daleville City School board. It is unclear whether he has an attorney.
