LONGWOOD, Fla. (AP) - Authorities say an Uber driver ran a red light before a fatal crash with a central Florida deputy’s patrol vehicle.

The Orlando Sentinel (https://goo.gl/TH3aE2) reports that 71-year-old Robert Williams has a June court date for a traffic citation. He has not been charged criminally for the death of his passenger, 28-year-old Corey Allicock.

Allicock had been at a holiday party in December when she called for the Uber. The Florida Highway Patrol reports that the Seminole County deputy and a trainee were heading to a domestic call when Williams ran the red light at an intersection near Longwood and crashed into the patrol vehicle.
