LAS VEGAS (AP) - Police are searching for two men who took off in a car after fatally shooting another man at a Las Vegas motel near downtown.

Las Vegas police say the shooting happened about 2 a.m. Wednesday at the Safari Motel.

A man driving a light-colored four-door car got out in the parking lot and argued with another man who was on foot.

Police say the driver then got back into the car and was driving away when a passenger opened fire on the man on foot.

The man shot was taken to a hospital, where he was pronounced dead. The Clark County Coroner’s office hasn’t identified him yet.

No suspect or car descriptions were immediately available.
